A linear route which will mainly take you to the historic objects in Namysłów. For a number of years now, the town authorities have been working to restore the original character of the streets; as a result, much of the route is paved with cobblestones.
The route starts at the cemetery chapel in Namysłów in Oleśnicka street and first takes you to the church of Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary in Staromiejska street. As you go through Namysłów, you will also visit the two main churches in the town - the church of SS Peter and Paul and the church of St Francis of Assisi, as well as the site commemorating the old Protestant church of St Andrew, and the building of the former synagogue which now serves as a school gym.
Outside Namysłów, make sure to visit the village of Miejsce with the church of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and a Jewish cemetery. To reach the cemetery, turn left from the road from Namysłów into the farm road which will take you past two houses, and then turn towards the forest. The historic cemetery can be found among the trees.
Another place of interest for sacral architecture enthusiast is the village of Pokój where you can see a Protestant church located right next to the church, and the old Jewish cemetery. There is also a large historic park - a perfect spot for a rest at the end of the trip.
