Shrine in Wielołęka

Add to the planner

The shrine, which also serves as a bell tower, was built at the end of the 19th century in the Eclectic style. The unplastered brick building is a typical example of Opolian Silesian architecture, similar to other shrines in the region. The shrine has three storeys, visibly separated by cornices and a band course. In the front of the building, there are alcoves with timber-framed windows, behind which statues are displayed. The double-pitched roof is crowned with a cross.
